According to Chevrolet, “there’s no rest for the iconic.”  For the 2013 Chevrolet Traverse, that means numerous improvements to an already safe and comfortable crossover utility vehicle.

Available soon at your Phoenix Chevy dealer, the 2013 Chevrolet Traverse is described by its manufacturers as “aggressive and dramatic” – not words typically used to describe the styling of CUVs.  Retaining its class-leading maximum 116.3 cubic feet of cargo space or seating for eight adults, the Traverse’s appearance – both interior and exterior – is now even more luxurious.  Soft-touch leather surfaces, ambient lighting, wood trim, and a significant infusion of cutting-edge technology make the Traverse tremendously luxurious.

Chevrolet’s MyLink interface provides excellent connectivity with today’s mobile devices, allowing drivers and passengers to access movies, music, and other content stored on compatible smartphones (and yes, Apple devices are compatible).  Even streaming apps like Pandora can be operated through the Traverse’s 6.5-inch touchscreen.  Rear climate control, audio tuning, and A/V input jacks round out some of the Traverse’s features, ensuring that backseat passengers are not excluded from the experience.

Outside the cozy environment of the Traverse’s cabin, the crossover’s lines have been sharpened.  Perhaps taking its cues from some of Chevrolet’s sports coupes and sedans, the 2013 Traverse looks and feels less like a full-size SUV than in previous years.  With additional chrome accents, a wider front grille, squarer headlights, and numerous other subtle (and not-so-subtle) adjustments, the Traverse is sure to impress.

Mechanically, the Traverse still brings the performance that Chevrolet owners have come to expect.  According to Motor Trend, the Traverse’s direct-injected V6 with automatic transmission cranks out 281 horsepower and 261 lb-ft of torque, giving the crossover the highest towing capacity in its class.  The primary goal of the Traverse is comfort, and changes to the model’s suspension profile effectuate that goal better than ever before.  Even with its spacious size, the Traverse can handle whatever challenges it may face without worry.
